Throughout his business career and now as a public servant, George has earned a reputation for collaborative leadership—working with local governments, community organizations, business leaders, and citizens to move important projects forward. His approach is simple: listen, build consensus, and focus on solutions that benefit the entire community.
That leadership has helped deliver meaningful results for the City of Paducah and the region, including leadership of the Southside Redevelopment Project, Riverfront Development and expansion, economic growth and job creation opportunities, an advanced city/county 911 emergency system, and always working to develop a stronger partnership between city and county government.
George believes leadership starts with listening.
“I believe in meeting people where they are—out in the community, listening directly to residents, business owners, and stakeholders. A meeting room can often feel intimidating, and that’s why I prefer going to them. Government leaders should work with the people they serve.”
